Rather than filling oversite with sand, you should have placed an RSJ to
the centre of the floor area and used the block & beam system. That way you
could have formed an opening in the floor slab & then used the space you
filled as extra storage space. Saving money & all of thos M3 of sand.

I’m not familiar with block & beam. Can it support the weight of a bus?
That’s probably pushing it a bit. your way probably best if that’s the
case. Just a thought. Cheers
