In my life I bought all the tools more than once!! Because some were
stolen!! I needed an extra set of tools in a caravan!! Sending tools to my
new homeland was too expensive! But what can I do? Without my tools? What
can you do when you need a new toothbrush? You go out and buy one!!! I just
bought my second plane because I want to edge off the lumber and how I’m
gonna get a nice result without it! I’d never be satisfied!!! Okay, it
costs me a few pesos but I can go on with what I like doing!!!
Heh, ,nice rant. I’ve been watching this series from the beginning. Gotta
say, I admire your energy to get in there and work. Can’t say I agree with
100% of your design decisions, but it’s you’re gig and not for me or anyone
else to tell you how to do things. As a fellow DIY’er, I think overall
you’ve done a helluva job. Non illegitimus carborundum…
Thanks! I’d actually be interested in hearing your design disagreements.
Honestly there are a lot of things I disagree with my design, so I’m not
surprised. Send me a message if you want with the changes you’d make.
Thanks again for watching!
As a former Sargent in the Parachute Regiment I used to teach Survival
Skills amongst other things. The knowledge of how to use a knife to make
other tools is as valuable as the learning curve of making things with
them. The look on a persons face when they’ve made a fire with two sticks
is priceless. In summary, know your tools, use your tools, care for your
tools. They’re the means to produce & provide, (& build awesome garages!).
I my self think you have done a hell of a job on your DIY Garage… There
are some questions with your design… But, as stated before i have watched
from 1st VIDEO and would i watch again if i knew it was a DIY?
Absolutely.!!! It’s been very informative.. PLUS people that watches can
get tips and tricks from you…like the skyscraper panels turning them into
the lower folding garage doors.. (hell of an idea) and i do have to say
again for this to be your first Garage Build it’s awesome…
Amen! I have watched every video up to this point and I will continue until
one of us dies or you stop doing them. Why? Because I like learning. That
is what DIY is. It’s about doing for yourself and about learning. Also,
you’re funny which makes the learning part easier than smashing my own
finger with the hammer. So, it’s a win-win really. Thanks for what you do!
I just saw your videos and have been a DIYer myself for years. Mostly in
part because my dad taught me as well that “if you want things done right
do it yourself”. If you have time and want to save money this is the way to
go and with folks like you providing guidance and ideas it makes it that
much easier. Also I ABSOLUTELY agree with you on the use of whats around as
apposed to what’s technically right. I’m in the process of putting in my
own PB105 , I just picked it up used, cleaned it, replaced the burn pot
under warranty due to the bubbling and moved it into place this weekend.
I’ve viewed your videos several times for ideas and wella ! venting and
plumbing next. Thanks again
