Great videos. Its nice to see real DIY videos to learn from. Question about
your house heating system. You are using a takagi tankless hot water heater
to heat your 2 radiant zones and hot water correct? Is the water heater
enough to heat your house and heat the water? I want to build my own
radiant heating system and your videos are very helpful.
That tankless is totally enough to heat my whole house and hot water. It
worked like that for 2 years and was great. The cost of propane was a
little too much for me, so that’s why i’m heating with wood pellets now.
But, I have a small very well insulated house, 1400 sq ft, built in 2005.
What model Takagi do you have? Most plumbers are against using a tankless
water heater for heating. I don’t know why. As long as it can handle the
water demand i don’t see an issue. My house is 1650 sq ft and I’m doing the
entire install myself. Im going to give it a try.
Yay…!
Now nothing stands in your way to build your own Sauna in the upper floor
of the garage with skyroof!!!!

Pretty sure mine is a Takagi jr. My house is 1400 sq ft, and it heated it
and did my hot water for 2 years.
