So…yeah. I’m a total jerk. I got you all excited for this fancy mailing list you signed up for, and within weeks lost all my steam for posting to youtube and my website… Well at least you haven’t been being spammed because of it. :)

But seriously though, I’m sorry I’ve been so out of touch with this whole thing I created. There has been too much that’s happened in and around the garage to wrap it all up in this email so I won’t even start. I will start by, starting again.

I’m going to attempt to create “valuable content” here. Well, what the heck does that mean? Well, it means that most of my videos in the past have been short snapshots of a project, or step in a project and I only capture in the video, whatever happens to stream through my head. I’d like to actually write about these things with a bit more cohesion and make some sense of my rambling.

So to get started, I need to create a bunch of posts to catch up with what I’ve posted on youtube, which is to say, sorry for the flood of activity you’re about to get.

As always, thanks for watching, and writing, and commenting and sharing.

Love your DYI videos….stumbled across them while searching for info on pellet furnaces. How do you like your Hartman? I am in the process of buying a home in Conway, NH and am looking to update the electric heat with something other than wood…..was thinking of geothermal, but the up front costs are just so high…..then I thought of Pellet because there seems to be a big push to create a pellet infrastructure in the northern NH, VT and Maine areas……but I was looking at a system sold by MESys. Any thoughts?

Hey Quentin, Sorry it’s taken so long to reply! The harman has been pretty good, although I think my combustion blower just went so i ordered a new one should be here in a few days. I love the idea of geothermal as well, but haven’t found a way to justify the upfront cost either, but also the ongoing electric expense I would want to supplement that with solar as well, so I’m waiting for that project first. Pellet’s are here to stay I feel, there is a large and growing bulk and bag delivery infrastructure, and MESys stuff looks SUPER nice.
