We pushed the truck into the garage bay with my buddy’s 3500 and began tearing this truck apart. My bucket truck, a 1991 GMC 3500, had a leak somewhere in the gas tank. I’d known about this leak for a couple years and purchased the replacement gas tank easily a year before actually tackling this project.
I didn’t grab any video of the initial tear down because we were so focussed on getting the tank, which was covered by skid plates and sway bars, actually out of the truck.
This is a long stupid story. I will write more later but for now just watch all the videos below.
