I make a point of taking as many detailed pictures of before, during &
after any detailed project, even video if I know I’m likely to leave it
standing for a while. Is nice to look over what I’ve done prior to getting
back into it & also to put in the archives.

Nice. Yeah, I could have done much better on this project. Its so hard to
start and stop the camera when your hands are all greasy.

I guess you could be quite right with your theory! AS A SCOOTEROWNER i know
the importance of a good working vaccuumsystem on these machines! They all
work by the same principle and when it fails finally the engine stops
running! The rubber of the fuel and vaccuumlines is often of very poor
quality and causes loss of vaccuum or fuel! It is cheap and recommandable
to change those from time to time!

Couldn’t be a loss of compfession be caused by poor closing valves? Maybe
by just cleaning those you could have more compression or having them
    grinded at a specialist!

On some motorcycles you see a manual operated fuelvalve underneath the
fueltank but as these quad and scooters have the fueltank hidden by
bodyparts and also have strickt emissionlimits they have a vaccuumoperated
fuelvalve…the one you showed working in your video! Without enough
    vaccuum the valve closes!!

Ooo! Fun new project. Yeah, the ol’ middle of the garage trick. What kind
of beer was that? It made me thirsty.

Oops. …pants, when you get older, you take pictures before bed so you
don’t forget who you are and how to dress.

Ah haa, went to the dark side and got the manual. May I also recommend
Donyboy73’s YT channel. He is THE small engine expert.

i realize this is a bump for this vid but just wanted to share. I just
finished fixing my 93 king quad 300 LTFWDX and i was wondering if you had
some sort of roaring from your motor. mine runs and pulls fine all gears
but roars worse as u speed up, it does have over 3300 miles so maybe just
wore out trans but i don’t know. mine had the connecting rod break and
shatter part of the block and cylinder amazingly its running the original
block just new crank and connecting rod plus cylinder. i like that these
quads will pull anything u can hook to it almost. i pulled 300lbs of rock
last weekend and stayed in high. wonder what super low is for haha.
