A couple stories of pulling things out of stuck places using the Mile Marker Winch on my suburban. I wish I’d taken some video of it, but I didn’t.
I also recall a time when I extracted a huge box truck that got stuck in my driveway. What a nightmare.

Your suburban makes me consider getting one. You said you got it from a state auction? Is that correct.

I am in negotiations with my wife about a new 4 door pick up truck (which she is in favor of) but a second hand vehicle like yours would work wonderfully! What is the damage on something like that Adam?

I bought my Suburban off craigslist. It was an ex-gov suburban, but I didn’t get it from a state auction. Although I’ve always wanted to have a dealers license and go to auctions. Mine is a 99. That’s the last year they made them in diesel (20mpg, 18mpg towing) I found mine for about 6k with 100k miles (which is un heard of) these all have 200+ miles. I can haul a half pallet of 4×8 plywood in the back of it out of the weather. Most pickups can’t handle that kind of weight. The rear axle has a 3,000lb rating.
