Do you run the wires through tubes? Maybe it is handy to install tubing
first to your lighting pounts and outlets and then do the ceiling and walls
covering!? Now you have to be improviising a lot!:/

I just finished the surveillancecameraproject and so wanted the wired to
run over the attic but…no way! So I used flat tubing mounted upon the
plints! Doesn’t look too bad in the end! Once a house is alk sheetrocked it
    is difficult to do extensions!

Why would you upset us electrical contractors about trying to do your own
electrical work? Feel free I make a lot of money off of DIYer screwups and
so do a lot of other contractors. What do you do for a living?

You might run a small subpanel up to the top floor office.
