if you would put a bevel edge (30 to 45 degree angle) on the large board
(bending clamp) it would make the metal bend crisper bending over a knife
edge not a flat surface! great videos! keep up the good work! you should
leave an access door to both side roofs from that upper deck so you would
not deed a ladder to go out on your roof for leak repair or loose panel
tightening etc, etc….
Great to see that roof almost floating in the air weightless! And what a
view and what a light coming in! Now you look like the old sailor who went
for a trip and hit solid rock and let out one of his birds to find some dry
land! :-) The bending goes fast this way though you could improve it a bit
when you have more support underneath your workpiece! Now it’s a bit swappy
and you have to do some more hammering! But the result looks satisfying!
Seeing the video for the second time the workhorse keeps the brake much
more steady then I thought! Not swappy at all! Also it better this way
bending not to long pieces of metal as I did on my project! When you have
them too long it is more difficult!
Bend metal flashing, with a home made brake. Do IT!
Jaw Horse…the tool that brought us together!
Still haven’t broken it..lol!
