    I used screws which are especially designed foor these hangers! They have a
    bigger head with a incorporated washer!!! It gives you the necesary
    flexability!!!

    It is always the parts that get screwed that are more interesting because
    they show the parts that you and others show be taking care NOT to do?

    Oh my gawd! I laughed so hard. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one these things
    were giving the blues. I had to look up a video to see what I was doing
    wrong and find this. I guess my experiences are normal. thanks for the

    Did you seriously nail all of your joist hangers with 16s? Lol. You use
    teco nails for hangers.

    Quicker and more accurate to scab a 2×4 or angle iron to the bottom to rest
    the hangers on. Dbl. check all your measurements and “viola”! <<< pronounced (wah 'la).
